It's almost Departure time!

23 days until I embark on the next journey in my life.  I will be headed to New Delhi, India for 31 days.  While there I will be working in a local hospital doing volunteer work, (I am still waiting on my placement) I am able to make this trip thanks to all of you supporting my cause.  Volunteer work to me is the past way to travel and see the world.  I love to learn the ins and outs of culture, tradition, language, food, dance, prayer, and everyday life!  The best way to do that is to immerse myself in the local culture while giving back my time as a thank you! 

Mother Theresa has always been a huge part of me and I am looking forward to experiencing her every day life in India! I will keep you all up to date on what my journey entails each day and how I am helping in my own personal and small way.
